Creativity, Music & Christmas

My interests have never fit neatly into a single category. Music, photography, crafting, Christmas, sound healing, and countless creative projects have all played a role in shaping who I am.

I love learning new skills, trying new ideas, and creating things that bring joy, connection, healing, and meaning to everyday life. This page is a collection of some of the creative pursuits that have inspired me along the way.

Music

Music has been part of my life since I first began taking piano and harp lessons as a child. While the harp is my primary instrument, I also play piano, string bass, and several other instruments.

Over the years, music has given me opportunities to perform in a variety of settings, including concerts, weddings, funerals, and community events. Through both challenges and successes, it has taught me patience, perseverance, discipline, and the importance of continuing to learn and grow.

Whether I'm practicing, performing, or simply enjoying the process of making music, it remains one of my favorite ways to learn, create, and express myself.

Sound & Healing

My interest in Reiki began as part of my own journey with chronic pain and a desire to explore additional approaches to wellness and self-care. As I continued learning, I found myself drawn to sound healing through my lifelong connection to music and an interest in the ways sound and vibration can influence our experiences and well-being.

Over the years, I have facilitated sound baths, individual sessions, and collaborative wellness experiences that incorporated both sound healing and Reiki. These experiences have allowed me to combine my love of music with practices that encourage relaxation, reflection, and self-care.

Although this is only one part of my journey, it remains an important one. I continue to appreciate the role that sound, music, and intentional practices can play in supporting overall well-being. If you would like to learn more about sound healing or Reiki, feel free to reach out.

Christmas & Tradition

Christmas has always been one of my favorite seasons and a source of creativity, magic, and joy. From decorating and crafting to my daily Christmas countdown projects and Santa-themed social media content, I enjoy finding ways to share a little holiday magic throughout the year and love the creativity, nostalgia, and sense of wonder that the season inspires.

Crafting & Creative Projects

Some of my favorite projects begin with a simple idea and a spark of imagination. I enjoy creating everything from holiday decorations and seasonal crafts to tactile books, adapted materials, and other hands-on projects.

Creativity often finds its way into both my personal life and my work. Whether I’m building a tactile learning resource, experimenting with a new craft, or bringing a holiday project to life, I enjoy the process of creating something meaningful that can be shared with others.

I’m not afraid to try something new, whether that means exploring glassblowing, working with resin, creating tactile materials, or learning a new creative skill. Each project becomes part of the story of who I am, and every creation reflects a little piece of the heart behind it.
