A New Chapter Begins…

Every story has a beginning, and this one started with an unexpected opportunity.

I was recently selected as one of the contributing authors for the 10th Edition of Voices of the 21st Century: Women Who Speak What Must Be Said. What began as a recommendation from my grad school advisor quickly turned into a writing project unlike anything that I have done before.

Writing my chapter gave me the opportunity to reflect on the experiences, challenges, and moments that helped shape who I am today and the path that led me here.
